I obtained a bid via email from this company, after its employee Brandon Arata did a sight visit, to do a $1,700 gutter repair/replacement project. After doing some investigation, I found out that this company does not have a contractor's license. It is also not possible to figure out who owns the company, as there is no corporation listed with the Cal. Secretary of State using the name "All Pro Services." According to the website of this company, the owner is named "Stephen Arata." According to the CSLB website, Stephen Arata is the corporate licensee of a company called "Gladcap Ventures, Inc." and works for no other companies. But if Gladcap Ventures is doing business as "All Pro Services," that should be noted on the CSLB website; it isn't. Also, the CSLB website states that Gladcap Ventures has no employees and therefore carries no workers comp insurance. After I responded via email to Brandon asking who the owner of the company is, they dropped me like a hot cake. I am certain that All Pro Services has employees but is not carrying workers comp insurance as required by law, and is not licensed, even though it offered to do work for which a contractors license is required. Avoid!
