WARNING. POOR WORK QUALITY. RUSH JOB. I hired this contractor and provided him with a building inspection report before signing a contract to follow and contact information for the inspector to discuss attic ventilation issues that were needed and never installed in the house previously, causing hot air to seep inside the bedroom and cause dry rot to boards. The owner said he was going to check every eave and the attic spaces (2 attic sections not connected and ignored for lack of understanding and knowledge) and install after the old roof was removed, that was never added previously, causing me to hire a building inspector and order a report. The siding had damages for years that were unknown and undetermined without removing all the siding, two layers, completely off to determine issues. Well, I stood watch and found the contractors covering up big sections of missing brick that had fallen into the house, thus was the source of the wind and air to enter the house for decades. I argued the cover up was not proper and demanded the work stopped and bricks replaced properly. He waited to get the job done in late October and no masons were available. He rushed to get the job done and move on. After the job was completed, another spot was found with no bricks under the siding. I confronted him again and he refused to remove all the siding and have the bricks replaced. I withheld funds to force him to return and make corrections and he refused. No contractor will take on these repairs due to liability. Therefore, the repairs are not properly resolved. The house is only repaired and not fixed properly due to this contractor negligence. The gutter covers are inferior, they don't work. Water does not pass through, according to the manufacturer there was supposed to be an adjustment made and the contractor refused. Snow and ice formed dames. I had to remove them all.
