In March 2026, I used Jahann & Sons to wash five Persian carpets at one time, and I was very satisfied with the service. One rug, a semi-antique Heriz, had some moth damage that they expertly repaired for an additional fee. Although the owner quoted me prices per rug based on the measurements I provided, I worked out the math and determined that they charged me $3 per square foot, which was 25% lower than other pick-up & wash services I surveyed. Moreover, the owner was quick to respond to emails and return calls, and the delivery guys were on-time for pick-up and return. I would give them an A+ for punctuality. My rugs had not been professionally washed in 25+ years, and they had been on the floor during a messy home renovation and were full of plaster and drywall dust. They rugs back clean with whiter fringes and brighter colors. I should also note that my rugs came out of a pet-free and smoke-free home and were not stained/soiled in any way. Accordingly, I cannot attest to Johann & Sons' ability to deal with stubborn stains or odors. I would gladly use Johann & Sons again.

Have employed Jahann and Sons three times. They gave me an approximate estimate over the phone to wash my oriental rugs. They scheduled a time to pick up the rugs. They moved furniture to remove the rugs. After inspecting the rugs at their shop, they gave me an updated estimate for repairs, and indicated a reasonable time frame for returning my rugs. When they returned the rugs, they moved furniture to put them in place. Their price was reasonable and competitive with other similar providers. I tipped the men for moving my furniture. They're very polite.
