I am not rating Trustone Financial for Mortgage services, but their performance on other transactions that have taken place over decades. I am retired and rely on CD interest to augment my income. I have been a member of Trustone for years and also Firefly CU (taken over by Trustone.) I also have CD accounts at several other institutions. Trustone has given me more grief than any of the others: 1.) sending personal data over unsecured emails, 2.) issuing large checks without the required number of signatures, 3.) stalled IRA transfer forms left sitting on someone's desk for weeks, 4.) getting hassled by staff over my recurring email requests for an interest check to be mailed to me. It seems employee training and/or attitudes need work here. I plan to leave Trustone altogether as my investments mature.

Been with Trustone for many years and have used them recently to finance our future retirement property in WI. Very helpful and friendly. If you are at a Wells Fargo or some other huge bank --run, don't walk, to TruStone. You'll be very happy you switched.
