Review of Doctor Gabe Don Sing I recently was in need of finding a new dentist since mine had just retired, just like the past four. While in for oral surgery, I happened to mentioned this and my doctor suggested Dr. Don Sing, who had recently moved to a new location in the north Seattle area. What a blessing that has been. I have had several dentists over the years (now being 81 years old), some quite good and a few I would never repeat. I knew he was different from my very first appointment, as he was doing the initial evaluation of my teeth. I have several old crowns, a couple of implants and had root canals on teeth that have since gone by the wayside. He engages in discussion about what he finds and offers explanations to a level that a complete neophyte can understand. Initially, I was somewhat overwhelmed by the magnitude of issues, but he develops a plan that clearly lays out what should be done, which he then discusses with the patient to determine what and when will be completed. In my case, his evaluation of issues with crowned teeth was extremely important because decaying areas are not easy to detect and what appears to be minor on the surface can indicate major issues under the crown. We have now completed the majority of the work and I could not be more pleased. His attention to detail is extraordinary. His methods are so attentive to the needs of the patient, always putting consideration of pain and comfort foremost, as he works. His personable manner just adds to the experience and for the first time, I actually look forward to going to the dentist, a statement I could never imagine making in the past. Satia, who runs the office, is another gold find. She doesn’t “just” make appointments, but has been so helpful in helping me set up reasonable scheduling and even making sure I understand the scope of the work that will be done in each session. Just one more delightful person to add to the mix. If only I had found him years earlier, my mouth would not look like it does today. But I am thankful and feel assured that going forward, I have the best care possible.
