I skipped the Ballard UW Urgent Care as we had several mediocre experiences there and got to this clinic in Factoria with about 10 minutes longer a journey. It hasn't been open that long, I think for two years. You book an appt online.and they confirm it ten minutes or so before by text. I chose a mid day appt to avoid any traffic hassles and on I-90 it is fairly seamless. It is new, and clean, and masks are required as of 10/23 I had a post-surgery concern and I was seen by a doctor who had worked at Swedish First Hill in the ER for 30 years! He was kind and listened carefully. He didn't behave in a hurry and got to the bottom of it. Their whole staff was kind and professional and it seemed we didn't wait more than a few minutes. It is not a substitute for ER if you need an ER but for a garden variety need it is wonderful. I would go back for certain and I have told people in Seattle to consider it. I have taken employees to many urgent cares and this was head and shoulders above the rest. I am sure it depends on what DR you get and when you go, but ours was a superior experience and the bill was also modest with my insurance. There are two Swedish facilities close to each other it is the one that is further south, almost across from the Nordstrom Rack at Factoria on the main drag.
