Initial assessment of options was thorough and detailed. Bid was easy to understand and included free options of a year's worth of filters and first year maintenance. All questions were answered. No attempt to sell me things I didn't want (e.g. duct cleaning). Crew showed up on time and worked diligently to install two furnaces in my duplex in one day. Additional combustion air venting was included. No other bids even mentioned it. Inspector agreed that additional combustion air was needed. Got bids from two other established contractors in the Seattle area. Their bids were 50%+ higher than Washington Energy Services. . Washington Energy sent a very competent heating technician ( Eric) to address my “no heat” problem one day earlier than their estimated scheduled date. He diagnosed the problem, let me know the cost upfront, fixed the problem, answered my questions thoroughly. No upsell, no commissioned sales, just a long time employee doing an honest professional job. The other heating company which I had tune up the furnace this summer didn’t even call back. This is the third time I’ve dealt with this company over the last 15 years (twice for various windows and doors) and each time we’ve been impressed by the entire team, from the office staff to the service people.
