I got bids from three contractors and the price didn't vary significantly to install a ductless AC/heat pump system. What set this contractor apart was the forethought that went into concealing a significant chunk of the infrastructure. Specifically, piping containing essential wiring that would otherwise have wrapped around our home's exterior siding instead was run through the attic.
