The previous shop sent me to Acme for electrical work related to an airbag problem, and warned me it might well cost $1500 to $2k. Acme did it for 300 bucks. What's not to like? Acme owner also told me that his mechanics don't get a commission on their bills, unlike most other shops and all dealers. I'm going back!

Personalized service. Very much customer oriented.

Alternator replacement cost twice competitors' prices due to not getting a written or verbal estimate. Upon requeting a verbal cost estimate the manager said, an 'arm and a leg.' He wasn't kidding. The deception was purposeful.
