On multiple occasions, JRA has offered excellent service for repair and replacement of tires for my husband's manual wheelchair. JRA kindly answered all of my questions, quoted a reasonable cost, and scheduled the work to minimize the time that the chair was in the shop. The courtesy and expertise are much appreciated, and the basis of my high recommendation.

I asked them how much it would cost to fix 2 flat tires. They said about $60, which was true. I asked how much a tune-up would cost & they said about $75, depending on parts needed. What they didn't say was labor was an additional $110. I strongly suspect they scammed me on the parts. They said the gears were worn out & had to be replaced. They didn't look worn to me & they weren't that old. They told me the tires fell apart when they took them off the rims & had to be replaced. I had ridden my bike several miles before I realized the tires leaked & walked it to the shop, so I have a hard time believing them about this. I know they were lying when they said they had to replace the seat pipe because the carrier rack over the back tire was rubbing. All they had to do was flip the switch & raise the seat.
