This is a small cleaning company which has been in business for quite awhile. The owner is a single woman making it on her own. communication with her is very good. We've really liked all the cleaners we've used via her crew over the nearly 9 years of service.

Failures of timeliness and communication made our first time working with Silly Sisters very difficult, and the job ended up costing over twice what they estimated. We contracted with them to do a thorough but straightforward cleaning of an empty house. On the first visit, the cleaner failed to show up and then arrived 2 hours later after our call to Silly Sisters. Departed after only beginning the cleaning. Two days later, the cleaner came back after-hours and again departed with the cleaning incomplete. One day later, a different cleaner from Silly Sisters came but again departed with the cleaning incomplete. On visit #4, another two days later, the job was finished. If we had known this would be a six day process requiring intensive oversight and many phone calls, we would have pursued a different option. If two Silly Sisters cleaners had worked together on this job, or one cleaner with adequate time available to them, the process would have worked better. Also, despite carefully reviewing with them the size of the house and the specific tasks required before getting an estimate, the total cost was over twice their estimate.
