After getting a lot of quotes and looking at reviews online, we chose to go with Pacific Exteriors. The siding itself looks beautiful, but it's the details and service that fell short of expectations. The caulking job around doors, windows, etc. was awful (not smooth, goopy, etc.). On the one hand, they said they are full service and will happily make changes if we don't like something. But on the other hand, they looked confused each time we asked them to do something differently than what they do by default (e.g., weird trim job around doors, using large trim around utilities). They would just nod and then initially ignore our requests, so we'd have to ask multiple times. So while everyone was "nice" we never knew what they were agreeing to vs. when they were just ignoring us. They had multiple supply issues, which is one thing. But then the project team kept saying they didn't have the right materials to finish the work, but their project manager kept saying they had everything they needed to finish. The PM didn't respond do every point in my emails or text messages, so I was constantly following up and it annoyed me how many times I was sending messages to get status or get agreement that they were going to do something specific... I think the project took 3 weeks longer than originally scheduled.
