Can’t say enough about how lucky we are to have found Greenwood Animal Hospital! I have a sick, aging dog and the whole staff knows and welcomes him. They always give me honest advice and have never tried to upsell me on a procedure or medication. The doctors are constantly working with me to try and make my dogs’ care affordable for me.

This vet is expensive. But here's why I dropped them: They require that you bring your pet in EVERY YEAR for a rabies vaccine. They use the Novbibac-1 vaccine which is identical to the Nobibac-3 vaccine in strength and dosage. But the manufacturer has colluded with vets who want to charge customers EVERY YEAR for another shot when they could offer the Nobibac-3 vaccine which does not need to be repeated for THREE YEARS. This would save money for their customer, reduce stress on pet and customer having to bring pet in, and limit the potential for side effects. Nobibac-3 is approved by all states. When I inquired why Greenwood Animal Hospital prefers to use a "1 year vaccine" instead of a "3-year vaccine" I was told this is way the vet wants to do it. She also suggested there are other clinics who use Nobibac-3 and I might want to find one.
