My two experiences were not good. First one: had a ABS part replaced under recall. The light came back on a week later. Service advisor said I was LUCKY to have it replaced again free of charge, which did not sit well with me. Second: Shopped for a new Acura for female friend who was working that day. Salesperson and manager agreed on a price with Acura sponsored low interest financing...had details written down with sales person and sales manager. Friend went in that evening to buy the car. They raised the price even though she said it was negotiated earlier, and even tried to charge 1000.00 for the alarm system which was standard equipment. To top it off, said she didn't qualify for the low interest financing. I told her to walk away and she went to Acura of Bellevue who honored our pricing and gave the special financing.

High pressure; salesman seemed to know very little about the cars on their lot & gave us some inaccurate info on the cars; couldn't drive a standard transmission so we had to wait a long time for someone to be available who could, to move another car so we could test drive; misleading info about the warranty; "just call us anytime if you have questions about how to use the features," but to do so we had to make several calls--finally one to the manager; tag-teamed my husband into buying an expensive extra warranty Consumer Reports advised against. Basically they wore us down until we were so exhausted we just bought an OK car at their price since "if you come back tomorrow we have no way to know what cars will still be on the lot". Almost every trick in the classic Slimy Car Salesman's Handbook.
