Furniture Pros took in a lift top table that I loved but had had a hard life. They replaced the springs in the lift top and completely refinished the table with a very durable finish, covering or repairing all visible defects and wear. It was not cheap but it restored my table which we use daily. Excellent service including help finding and selecting the right springs.

This appears to be a group of related craftspersons. This review is for Tim Shelton, who spent a lot of time with us to get our beloved lift top table repaired and then completely refinished. We had a broken spring in the lift mechanism. Tim could not find a source for a replacement, but worked with me to help me find the sourcing. We asked Tim to repair buckled veneer and refinish the top, as we use the table daily. It must be 30 years old. It was not cheap, but he refinished the entire table (not just the top) to a condition better than new. It looks fabulous and the finish is extremely durable. The table is better than new in every respect and the price was very fair. We did have to wait a while for his calendar to clear, but it was 100% worth the wait. We would recommend Tim to anyone who wants to repair/restore a loved piece of wood furniture. He will be honest about what he can and cannot do. The price was quoted, and the cost was exactly that. Great professional to work with.
