I used Ned Stevens twice. After first gutter cleaning service, they immediately tried to sell me on a complete gutter replacement for the entire house. The photos they submitted as evidence of the issue only showed the front of my house taken from the driveway and not any other side of the house or the gutters themselves, which they said they couldn't give me due to safety concerns. The second service, the technician failed to shut off the water completely after the service, leaving the outside water spigot dripping. When I called to complain, the manager said it was because the technician didn't want to overtighten the spigot. The company also signed me up for autopay without my permission and when I complained about that they said it was to make it easier for me. It was after this that I decided to end services with the company.

Not happy with Ned Stevens Gutter cleaning. Here it is -- in the last weeks of December -- and they finally got to my house. This, after several calls asking when they would clean my gutters. The guys doing the work were all smiles and efficient, but they left the soaker hose ON, flooding a garden bed and running water into the street. With luck, it hasn't killed my Japanese Maple. What would have happened if I wasn't home? You can't trust them.

They will try to upsell by claiming there's something wrong with your gutters or they need to be replaced. I have not had this problem with other companies. Also, once you've used them they will never stop contacting you, even if you make it clear that you don't want to do business with them.
