Friendship animal hospital does an amazing job considering it's like an ER for animals as well as a vet practice. Our kittens were spayed there and we found the surgeon to be adequate, not the best communicator, and not as pleasant as some, however, that was just one surgeon out of a large surgery staff. The care is excellent. The prices are very high and the access to appointments can be disappointing. I think it's a big operation and it's hard to do everything very well with such a high volume of animals (and people) in and out all day. Parking is abysmal at this location and one can expect to walk a block or more (with their animal(s) in a carrier) unless lucky enough to get a spot in their lot. I would definitely take my cats there in an emergency but for routine care, somewhere calmer works better for me.

Our dog had numerous medical problems and was treated by various specialties and emergency vets. The highly skilled staff were amazingly caring, and communicative throughout his treatment and gave valuable and compassionate advice and the end-of-life stage. Can't say enough good things about Friendship and everyone there.

I use them for specialty services - dermatology and neurology. The new office is beautiful but parking in their garage is a nightmare. Costs for specialty are high but think that’s the norm. Cost comes first - to even make an appointment requires a deposit for full cost of appointment before diagnostics or meds.
