Recommended
Robert Did 2 jobs for us. The first was several small masonry and concrete repairs. He did such a nice job at a great price that several months later we called him back to do a much larger repair to the brick exterior. He again was easy to work with and we felt the price was lower than it should have been considering the amount of work it turned out to be. I highly recommend him.

He lives in the neighborhood and had done work for me before, so I called him when I needed mortar repair for my front steps and walk. He came by the next evening and gave a very low estimate. I also needed wobbly railings on the steps to be reinforced. He wasn't sure what to do about them, but said he would do something. Next day, he texts me that he's skeptical about what to do about the railings and that he has too much else going on and that I should choose another contractor. Was somewhat brusque after I texted back that I was sorry he declined and that he should let me know if he changed his mind.

After soliciting 4 bids for 1) a new front walkway using Nicolock pavers and 2) resetting the bricks in a patio that was several decades old, I chose Bluestone Masonry as the obvious choice for the work. Robert not only submitted the most detailed and professional bid, but did a phenomenal job in completing both projects during the most oppressively hot week this past (2016) summer. He is not only a skilled mason, but an absolute perfectionist! His work far exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend Bluestone to anyone looking for a truly high quality job.
