Signed up for their Gold program in Nov ‘24, as the first repairman was fabulous. Our Air Conditioning stopped June 24, 2025, called M&S, told by rep he had to make an appointment, next one July 22, then would put me on a list for Gold members to be called when there was a cancellation. Told the rep my husband is disabled and elderly, and it’s 90+ degrees outside, 80 at that time inside. We did not receive a call from M&S, today is Jul 18, I called a customer care representative today. Sorry, but it’s a busy time period and you’re in a large area Alex/Arl. Spoke for awhile, and she never asked if we got the AC fixed, or how my husband was doing. Wrote to corporate and got a snarly reply from management: “ Unfortunately, the gold HCA does not state anything about how quickly we can service you. It is priority service, and it states we operate 24 hours a day. If we get an influx of emergency calls from HCA members, then service will be delayed as we provide priority service 24 hours a day, while we get through the demand for service.” We did receive two calls after this to schedule our services, where I reported what happened and we canceled the agreement. We have not received a pro-rated refund - as we were told we would. Also, no follow up contact. Avoid this company!

Very high priced for poor service. Had a high priced maintenance plan, they installed a new central ac unit and compressor, very expensive. It failed completely in 7 years have to buy a whole new unit now. They used inferior products such as compressor booster to make unit more efficient, charged supreme prices and because it was cheap, cut rate product, it burned out the compressor. The AC unit itself has always been sporadic, plus developed mold problem during first year, they charged a huge amount to put in a blueray unit that failed after 4 years. High priced, used inferior products and inferior service. They were always trying to sell pricey services or add on equipment though. Very good at that.

I have a service agreement. The cost to FDI beyond the service agreement is 2 to 3 times above average. I cannot justify in some cases.
