The over-the-range light bulbs under my microwave kept blowing out in a few weeks. I thought there could be a problem with the light bulb sockets, so I called Jerrys' and he said he would be happy to replace them, but he didn't think that was the problem. He said cheap bulbs were more likely the issue. I was paying about $7.00 a piece. He said get the GE bulbs that cost about $33 each. So, I took his advice and the GE bulbs have been working fine for over 2 months now. So, he saved me a lot of money.

This is my second amazing experience with Jerry's Appliance Repair. This time, my KitchenAid gas stovetop would not light and I smelled no gas. At the recommendation of Glebe Appliance, one of Checkbook's top rated appliance retailers, I called Tim, the son of the original founder of the business, with an urgent plea for help. We had several text exchanges asking me to do various actions to identify the cause, including turn gas burners on to see if I smelled any gas (I did not). His final request was that I ask the furnace repair person who had just repaired a nonfunctioning gas furnace to see if I had gas coming to the stovetop. When the furnace repair person turned on the stovetop, it immediately worked. Apparently the furnace repair person unwittingly had turned off a gas valve that fed the stove from the basement during one of his earlier attempts to restart the furnace. I texted Tim back to give him the good news and to say that I would be sending him a check for his service fee, which he refused to accept. How can you say more about how wonderful Tim as an appliance repair person. He asks all the right questions, minimizes unnecessary trips, and is incredibly less expensive than others.
