After a (damaging) leak from our attic heat pump we turned off the system on a Friday night, and were unable to reach the company whose tech had worked on it a couple of weeks prior. We called only Consumer Checkbook's list of companies servicing our area and those rated superior in price and quality (with at least 100 ratings), and found that some would service only their established customers, some routinely "don't service attic units" (wow, that was a surprise), and most could not visit us for at least one week (some further out). We found a company that stopped by at the end of the day and quickly identified where the leak came from, but didn't have parts to fix it, didn't charge for the visit, and gave us an after-hours number to call if we didn't find someone else early next week. Next week, our sixth (SIXTH!) call was to Evercool. The price was $115 for coming out. We gave all the details ahead of time to the person on the phone, but the tech arrived without knowing any of that info. He was very quiet, went to work immediately. Although he didn't let us know price to make repairs in advance, in the end, it was great work and he was very friendly and informative after the repair, showed us what had been done and how to check on things, generally. ALSO, the price was less than we had been quoted by another company - one who was unable to schedule an appointment in the near future. I would call them again, now that we know the service quality and price was very good, and especially that they got to us the morning after we called!

Each of the techs that have serviced my HVAC system has been very willing to answer questions. I was especially impressed of thoroughness of cleaning the outside AC unit. My experience over several years that they have been on time for appointments and thorough.

Switched to Ever Cool this past year after many years with Dwyer. I have been pleased with the technicians who came out for the fall furnace inspection and just recently for the AC check. Both young men were knowledgeable and very polite. Fortunately, I haven't had to have any repair work done yet!
