Vanover's does NOT stand behind their work!!! Don't be fooled and do your homework before you consider using this company. Our builder arranged the floor installation for our large new home and, overall, it is not bad but mostly due to the quality of the flooring we selected. In addition to disputing the agreed to contract terms and demanding additional payment, Vanover employees damaged our floors when they had to return to repair several boards. It is obvious Vanover's equipment harmed an additional floor area and, after repeated delays to even show up to look at the damage, they refuse to take responsibility for the damage caused by their employees. This is a new custom home and no one except Vanover employees even walked on the floors where the very obvious new damage occurred. Now we must hire an additional floor installer to sand and refinish our floors before we can move into our new home. Not happy!!!

We had a horrible experience working with Vanover's Floors. They were very, very difficult to work with. They were very messy, extremely unpleasant to work with and required us to pay them more money to correct their mistakes.

This was a horrible experience I hope none of you will have to go through. In a recent remodel, we decided to have solid hardwood, finished in place pretty much throughout the house. When the delivery guys came, they dropped the wood into the rooms so hard, over and over, that they broke the drywall in the ceiling underneath. The installer's foreman insisted I move my family out of the house while sanding and finishing took place, or they wouldn't honor the warranty. They installed the wrong topcoat on an entire floor. Though they came back to "correct" it at no additional charge, the fix was substandard. By that time, I was so eager to be rid of these bums that I accepted the hardwood flooring that I'd been so excited to have as "not too bad" that I just dismissed them. They have drops of sealer throughout the house now permanently dried on. They have missed spots where there is no sealer. It's like we hired the Tres Títeres (Stooges) to do our floors for us.

Avoid them at all costs. Nyuk Nyuk Nyuk!
