Kitsap Lumber has saved me when other hardware/lumber supply stores have failed and I appreciate that. They're a small, local operation that really seems to cater to the community/area. It's a homey, low-tech, "natural" environment that has dozens of aisles to explore for tools, kits, hardware of every kind, and a huge yard of lumber/cut wood products for just about any project imaginable. I like the homey, community feel of Kitsap Lumber and will even pay more, at times, for products because I don't want the hassle of having to order online from the big boys.

The BEST for specialty lumber and wood products especially quality and species specific lumber. Good general hardware store, great atmosphere and support. Special orders, not a problem. Love being able to support local business and keep our $ locally. As near to an old time hardware store and entertaining shopping experience as you can find locally.
