While working with me this appraiser made some factual mistakes during his analysis, resulting in a lower appraisal value. After pointing out mistakes in the appraisal and asking the appraiser to re-evaluate the value, the appraiser corrected his mistakes, but declined to adjust the value. As a results I had to make lower downpayment and ended up paying for mortgage insurance.
