As with many stores they waste too much space on high-margin pre-prepared food. But once you get past that, they do a great job stocking a variety of items in a manageable-sized store. We are sad that they have stopped carrying some items we rely on, but that seems to be inevitable. Also it is very disappointing that they are no longer locally owned. That came with a step down in customer service, but it's still good.

Met Market in Tacoma is a cramped store with very slow checkout and limited parking. Pricing is now over the top high with fresh milk for example being about $2/container higher than elsewhere. Need to watch carefully what is charged at checkout, since pricing tags at counters are not always aligned with products, or are sometimes concealed under the product.

This is the most expensive store in the area, but serves an important niche for its deli, bakery, cheeses, meats and produce. And The Cookie. Navigation of the store is generally good. For the best stuff, simply work around the perimeter. Aisles are more spacious than QFC but not super wide.
