Website said special was for free estimates and chimney sweep was $199 (regularly $249). They got to our house and said it was $100 just to come out and $250 to clean. He said because chimney was so dirty. After cleaning, they said that chimney was actually pretty clean, so no tax charge - just 3% credit card processing. We ended up paying $360. They also said we needed new chimney cap which they had - to install was $250. My husband did that himself with a $40 cap from Home Depot. Seems like technicians charge more at their discretion. I called main number to talk about price discrepancy. They said call the technician because he was supervisor. Also didn’t have or wear masks while in our hone. Won’t use them again.
