Had a dripping shower faucet fixed. Had been leaking for months. Fix required a part order of $150 and 2nd visit. Service was professional and provider arrived right on time. Total cost was $300. Shortly thereafter I received a water bill for 2 months for $145. Seems like the fix cost would have covered over 4 months of total water usage. Also received an estimate for a water heater replacement in anticipation of problems with a 12-year-old unit. A heat pump replacement was performed on time with no problems but am hoping that a $1000 income tax credit will help defray the over $3000 cost.

I called on Friday and reported a problem with my kitchen faucet. Small leak and the sprayer stopped working. First appointment was on Monday at 9 AM. Got a call early Monday saying the plumber was not available until Tuesday. He fixed the problem and it took an hour....The labor charge was $275 plus tax plus parts...Labor was $65 for first 15 minutes and $70 for each of the next 15 minutes. Total bill was $374 and I had mentioned I was a senior citizen.... Seems excessive.........
