This is my third review for Jim Adams. He's sometimes a little prickly and touchy, but a great asset to Kensington: inexpensive, thorough, prompt and knowledgeable, Just be sure to treat him right or he'll tell you about it. Me--I love him. I call him any time I need help.

Jim was very responsive to my service request to help fix a sagging door. He identified additional issues with the door frame and underlying brick, which made it difficult to adequately fix the problem and recommended reaching out to a window/door contractor to fix the systemic issues with the door itself. Jim was able to successfully troubleshoot the door with a temporary fix so it can open and close more easily than before. I appreciate his honesty and transparency with addressing my issue and he charged a nominal rate for his work, which I appreciate. I would definitely use Jim again for other handyman services around my house.
