Manufacturer replaced several cabinets and mirrors that had the same poor manufacturing outcome as the original units we received. Kraftmaid has extremely poor quality control. Mis-sized doors, doors out of square, and numerous painting (under-sprayed, errant particles, bare edges, etc.)

Ordered American Woodmark all-plywood construction cabinets from the Bitterlake HD. The Home Depot designer, Greg Davidson (now at Mt. Vernon) was wonderfully patient and helpful in going through many versions of a new kitchen layout. Everone at HD was helpful. The cabinets themselves could not match the quality of the custom oak cabinets we had installed in our prior house forty years ago. However, some of the newer features, especially the self-closed drawers, are nice. American Woodmark was very easy to deal with in providing replacements for the couple of pieces that we weren't satisfied with. We didn't use the HD installer: the quoted price was absurdly high. We did use the HD-sold countertops by Precision Countertops (Wilsonville, OR). They were wonderful, proactively keeping in touch with us regarding our scheduling needs. The quartz countertop was neatly installed.
